If you plan on sticking around for awhile, why not tell you friends? This helps the server get known. Your friends will tell others, they'll tell more, etc. and the community will grow, leading towards a successful economy and more fun for everyone.
Voting also helps the server get out there. The more votes we get gets us closer to the top, and that brings more players.
When we make advertising topics on forums such as R-S and RSPSPCoding, a good idea would be to create an account on those websites and to bump the threads with positive feedback about Fame. This will also draw new players.
